In order to acquire these games, you’ll need to have a monthly subscription to Humble Bundle. These include:
My choice has always been the 12-month subscription, but a lot of people like to see the upcoming releases before choosing whether to accept the 1-month payment or not. Since I sometimes get games I don’t like, or even duplicates, I use them exclusively in giveaways. You can view my list of giveaway games here. What do you get with a subscription?

Early Unlocks for August 2019
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Bohemia – located in the heart of Europe, the region is rich in culture, silver, and sprawling castles. The death of its beloved ruler, Emperor Charles IV, has plunged the kingdom into dark times: war, corruption, and discord are tearing this jewel of the Holy Roman Empire apart.
One of Charles’ sons, Wenceslas, has inherited the crown. Unlike his father, Wenceslas is a naive, self-indulgent, unambitious monarch. His half-brother and King of Hungary, Sigismund the Red Fox, senses weakness in Wenceslas. Feigning good will, Sigismund travels to Bohemia and kidnaps his half-brother. With no king on the throne, Sigismund is now free to plunder Bohemia and seize its riches.
In the midst of this chaos, you’re Henry, the son of a blacksmith. Your peaceful life is shattered when a mercenary raid, ordered by King Sigismund himself, burns your village to the ground. By bittersweet fortune, you are one of the sole survivors of this massacre.
Without a home, family, or future you end up in the service of Lord Radzig Kobyla, who is forming a resistance against the invasion. Fate drags you into this bloody conflict and shoves you into a raging civil war, where you help fight for the future of Bohemia.
After seeing a lot of the DLC to this game, I’m kind of disappointed they didn’t add all of it in as the bulk of the game, but I can’t be sure if they’ll appear when the entire August bundle arrives. Maybe I was just spoiled by the recent entire DLC of Borderlands that I acquired from Fanatical.
My reaction on getting access to the Kingdom Come: Deliverance itself is surprise and intrigue, you could say.
I’ve watched a couple friends play it, and I’ve heard of a lot of bugs in the game during its initial release, so I don’t know if those are still there, but I kind of wanted to play this–I just didn’t have it as a high priority.
Keep in mind, if you don’t want to grab this month’s Humble Bundle, then you can always purchase this game on XBox One and PlayStation 4.
Surviving Mars
Welcome Home! The time has come to stake your claim on the Red Planet and build the first functioning human colonies on Mars! All you need are supplies, oxygen, decades of training, experience with sandstorms, and a can-do attitude to discover the purpose of those weird black cubes that appeared out of nowhere. With a bit of sprucing up, this place is going to be awesome!
Surviving Mars is a sci-fi city builder all about colonizing Mars and surviving the process. Choose a space agency for resources and financial support before determining a location for your colony. Build domes and infrastructure, research new possibilities and utilize drones to unlock more elaborate ways to shape and expand your settlement. Cultivate your own food, mine minerals or just relax by the bar after a hard day’s work. Most important of all, though, is keeping your colonists alive. Not an easy task on a strange new planet.
There will be challenges to overcome. Execute your strategy and improve your colony’s chances of survival while unlocking the mysteries of this alien world. Are you ready? Mars is waiting for you.
I always get a space game. Always. I need to suck it up and just play some sci-fi games, but as stated in many of my posts, it’s just not the genre I like to watch on tv or play on the PC. Plus, it’s a city builder, and I don’t think I’ve played one of those since the Windows 98 days of Tropico.

Humble Bundle July 2019 Games
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice
From the makers of Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and DmC: Devil May Cry, comes a warrior’s brutal journey into myth and madness. Set in the Viking age, a broken Celtic warrior embarks on a haunting vision quest into Viking Hell to fight for the soul of her dead lover.
I just want to say how much of an amazing game this is, and I love, love, love that they put it into a Humble Bundle. I don’t know how many times I’ve started this game up, but the atmosphere and the emotion it conveys can really get to you.
While Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is available for PC, it’s also available for gamers who prefer the consoles of XBox One or PlayStation 4.
Moonlighter
During a long-passed archaeological excavation, a set of Gates were discovered. People quickly realized that these ancient passages lead to different realms and dimensions – providing brave and reckless adventurers with treasures beyond measure. Rynoka, a small commercial village, was founded near the excavation site providing refuge and a place for adventurers to sell their hard-earned riches.
Moonlighter is an Action RPG with rogue-lite elements following the everyday routines of Will, an adventurous shopkeeper that dreams of becoming a hero.
I don’t know much about Moonlighter, but I know of several people that were craving a duplicate copy I obtained from this bundle. It looks good, and it’s in the genres I play. Plus, it’s got a ton of awards that go along with the title, so I certainly can’t complain about getting it.
It’s also available on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 for those that prefer playing on consoles rather than PC.
Road Redemption
Road Redemption is an action racing game where you lead your motorcycle gang on an epic journey across the country in a brutal driving combat adventure.
Earn money by completing races, assassinations, robberies, and other challenges in your path. As you collect loot, you’ll upgrade your character, your bike, and your weapons.
Not to be confused with Red Dead Redemption (I have such a problem with spelling that title…). Red Redemption is…not really something I’ve ever tried. I mean, the only games where I actually drove a vehicle would be Crazy Taxi, and that game was damn fun. Nothing like this one, no doubt, but just to give you some insight into my gaming life.
Actually, another biker game I played, both years ago and recently was Full Throttle.
Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus
Take control of one of the most technologically advanced armies in the Imperium – The Adeptus Mechanicus. As Magos Dominus Faustinius, you’ll lead the expedition on the newly rediscovered Necron planet of Silva Tenebris. Customize your team, manage resources, discover long-forgotten tech, and control your Tech-Priests’ every move.
Your every decision will shape the missions ahead and ultimately decide the fate of the troops under your command in over 50 hand-crafted missions. Choose your path carefully – the Imperium depends on it.
Looks like there are a large variety of figurines and some board games that go in the Warhammer title. Also a movie. It’s not necessarily the type of game that I’d be playing, so it’ll probably get thrown into my list of games to giveaway.
Love is Dead
Reunite two freshly dead zombies as you scour the globe in search of the only thing that matters after the apocalypse, your beloved pets. With a whimsical, light-hearted approach to the zombie genre, Love is Dead is a fun and funny puzzle game for everyone that believes true love lasts forever… even beyond the grave.
A couple things came to mind when I saw this game. First, the movie Warm Bodies, in which zombies becoming humans, but it’s humorous and romantic. Secondly, despite it not looking anything like it, I was also reminded of Last Day of June, just because it’s about love. And nothing jerks your heart like that damn game.
60 Parsecs!
Atomic Space Age was a blast! Until it became the Post-Apocalyptic Space Age.
Your space station is about to explode and you only have 60 seconds before things get messy. What (or who) will you grab before you make a mad dash for the emergency shuttle and begin your journey into THE GREAT UNKNOWN?
This is 60 Parsecs!, a dark comedy sci-fi adventure set in the Atomic Space Age – complete with all the Cold War paranoia, chrome-plated wall accents and cockroaches with space helmets.
Lead a crew of woefully unprepared astronauts, equipped with whatever junk – sorry – “supplies” you can grab before blasting off, on a journey across the cosmos that’s best described as misguided. Make the best of it, while dealing with soup shortages and other horrors of outer space. Will you have what it takes to find a new home and survive?
Bon voyage!
It’s science fiction, but it looks fun, with, y’know, humor. Apparently there was a 60 Seconds! game, and this is sort of a spin-off of it? You basically have to grab as much as you can in 60 seconds before the apocalypse begins, if I’m not mistaken, and of course things don’t always go as planned in those 60 seconds.
Nairi Tower of Shirin
Let the saga commence in this point-and-click logic puzzler that’s kawaii to the core. Taking cues from the classic visual novel set-up, this crafts a rich fantasy Ghibli inspired world of animals and humans living side-by-side.
Just for the fact it’s Ghibli inspired makes me want to play this game. Another pro for this bundle. If you have no idea what I mean when I speak of Studio Ghibli, you’re either not a fan of anime or you’re living without access to watching movies.
Check out some of the Ghibli movies you can watch–they’re all pretty amazing. (My personal favorite is Howl’s Moving Castle.)[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Access the Humble Bundle TroveA new bundle of games a month can be a nice surprise, but don’t forget the fact that there are a large cache of DRM-free games awaiting you in the Humble Trove. 70+, in fact, and with every month comes a few more flavors. You’ll need to be a monthly subscriber, however, so even if you don’t like the monthly games, the Trove can be a worthy treasure for your collection! Some of the newest Trove games include: |
