The Dark Tower How-To
We got lucky with some vital intelligence from the locals of this valley. Those two behind us, the Ranthals, have informed me that the gnolls in Galardell Valley are being controlled by a powerful magus in the tower of Ilgalar. The problem is that the tower is sealed by a magical force field.
The first thing we need to do is get the key that will get you inside. The gnoll general, Fangore, has your ticket inside. Kill General Fangore and get the key.

In order for this quest to pop up, you’ll need to complete Detonation.

If you check Clyde Ranthal’s inventory, you might find Pattern: Black Whelp Cloak. There’s typically only one in stock at a time, so if it’s not there, then someone else may have taken it before you.Rare Alert!
While doing this quest, make your way to the small camp at 68,36 where you might find the rare Rohh the Silent.
You can do this quest while working on Shadowhide Extinction to make things easier. You’ll find General Fangore inside the cave at 67,30. He’ll have the key you need, so kill him and loot it. This finishes the quest for you.
