If you and Keeshan are going to defend Lakeshire, we’re going to need to find his old battalion. Last I heard all of ’em – Messner, Jorgensen, Krakauer and Danforth – were captured by the Blackrock orcs. Now I don’t know where they could possibly be or if they’re even alive, but I’d be a damned fool if I didn’t ask you to try and find ’em.

Search Alther’s Mill, east of here, for any clues.

Quest Objectives:

Search Alther’s Mill for a member of the Bravo Company.

In Search of Bravo Company Guide

• Starts: Colonel Troteman (28,40)
• Ends: Messner (47,41)

This is a simple task of going from one place to another, so accept the quest you’ve always wanted to do and travel all along the path to the east. You’re at the right orc-infested place when you see a pen of too many worgs for you to handle (unless you’re a higher level, of course).

Speak with Messner inside the cage within the lumber building.
