Find and steal the Athenian Nation Treasure

The Athenian Treasure Trove
The Athenian Treasure Trove

This quest is located within Fort Geraneia to the west.

If you’ll look at the first image above, you’ll see there’s a small icon on top of one of the purple icons that we’re focusing in on at the left center of the fort. This is where you’ll find the Athenian Nation Treasure.

I typically loot this treasure last–along with most of the others–because I try to keep track of where all the enemies are and dispatch them before they become a hassle. So if you’re wanting to know how I go about dealing with this place and stealing the Nation Treasure, then let me quote what I stated in my former The Athenian Leader guide.

  • Approach from the front side and whistle for stragglers to come into the grass for assassination.
  • Go along the top of the outer walls, killing people one by one while staying behind cover.
  • Go across the ropes and lay a trap on the bonfire, in case someone sees me and wants to call for help.
  • Pick the rest of the weak people off one by one via assassination.
  • Initiate battle with stronger opponents.

Note that there are animals in cages that you can set free to see if they can attack the enemies for you. But don’t completely rely on them, because I released a bear from its cage and it did absolutely nothing to help me.

Once you steal the Nation Treasure, a large chunk of Nation Power will decrease.
