I’m a little late on jumping on the hype bandwagon when it comes to playing Life is Strange 2, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t have any kind of interest in it. It just means I’m buying too many other games and forgetting to play them.
The real reason I had to pick up this game is because the second episode is coming out a couple days after my birthday, and as a birthday gift I was hoping to make a grab for it. But I didn’t see a point in getting all giddy about that present if I’ve never even played the first episode yet.
So here I am about to play the first episode.
This is going to be a completely blind play of the game. I’ve only ever saw one trailer for it, I think, and I can’t remember much from it. I also held off on watching any let’s plays that are on YouTube.
The only things I know are basically the predecessors of the game. Life is Strange, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, and even The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit.
They were all enjoyable and memorable in their own way. I’m more partial to Chloe than Max. Even though she didn’t have any powers, she had a badass vibe going on–and the hair was top notch.
Coming from someone who likes multicolored hair, so perhaps I’m biased.
I don’t know what kind of powers await the characters in Life is Strange 2, but I’m interested in finding out.
